Position – VP-Marketing

As a member of the Leadership Team, marketing head will strategies the marketing initiative to achieve the organization’s goals, promoting enterprise alignment, cross-functional working, customer focus and continuous improvement.

Experience Essentials

  • Identifying , developing, and evaluating marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
  • Formulating, directing and coordinating marketing activities (ATL/ BTL) and policies to promote products and services, alongwith providing advertising and promotional support.
  • Overseeing the writing of press releases, copy for marketing materials, annual reports, advertisements, and other related material.
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
  • Consulting with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, and packaging.
  • Coordinating and participating in promotional activities, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company beliefs and service offerings
  • Contributes to the total effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member.
  • Budget management. To deliver all marketing activity within the agreed budget.
  • Drive footfalls and eyeballs in the brands retail business through an integrated marketing plan
  •  Ensure right brand visibility through events, alliances, and PR.
  • Having past experience of B2C sales (if in an agency) or retail organizations will be preferred

  • Excellent orator and ability to manage risk at work
  • Proven leadership ability of growing team from scratch

Desired Education

  • Postgraduate Qualifications in Marketing or other related fields from an institute of repute
  • Deep domain expertise in Marketing
  • Experience in Retail, FMCG will be preferred.
