Position – Vice President of Supply Chain
Experience – 15-20 Years
Budget – As per Industry Norms *(depending upon the current ctc)
Location – Delhi /Gujarat
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the overall supply chain strategy to support business goals, growth, and cost reduction.
- Operations Management: Oversee the entire supply chain process, including procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously evaluate and implement improvements in supply chain operations to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage performance to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate those risks, including supply shortages, delays, or quality issues.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Manage the supply chain budget, monitor spending, and ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Technology & Innovation: Leverage supply chain technology and systems to improve data visibility, forecasting, and decision-making.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align supply chain objectives with business needs.
- Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure supply chain operations meet all regulatory requirements and align with sustainability goals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven Success: Track record of successfully optimizing supply chain operations, improving cost efficiency, and driving business growth.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management experience, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with supply chain management software and ERP systems
- Global Experience: Experience managing global supply chains and working with international suppliers and logistics partners.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of international trade and logistics regulations.
- Experience in managing supply chain during periods of growth or restructuring.
