Role Overview

Are you passionate about shaping workplace culture and driving impactful HR strategies in a dynamic retail environment? We’re looking for experienced and strategic Zonal HR Managers to lead human resources across our key zones—North, East, South, or West.

In this role, you’ll act as the key HR interface between the Head Office and zonal operations, aligning HR initiatives with business goals, improving employee experience, and championing operational excellence across retail units.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Leadership

  • Design and implement HR strategies tailored to zonal business needs

  • Advise zonal leadership on key people-related decisions

Talent Acquisition & Retention

  • Drive recruitment, workforce planning, and staffing across the zone

  • Improve hiring quality, reduce cycle times, and ensure smooth onboarding

Employee Engagement & Relations

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and pulse surveys

  • Address grievances and foster a positive, inclusive workplace

Performance & Talent Management

  • Manage appraisal cycles and identify development needs

  • Deploy upskilling and capability-building programs

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure accurate HRIS, payroll, and regulatory compliance

  • Represent the zone in audits and labor/legal proceedings

HR Metrics & Analytics

  • Track and report key HR metrics – hiring, retention, compliance, etc.

  • Deliver insights to drive continuous improvement

Training & Development

  • Conduct training needs assessments

  • Support innovative learning solutions, including digital programs

Change Management

  • Lead or support organizational change efforts in the zone

  • Enable successful adoption of new systems, structures, and processes

Reporting & Communication

  • Regularly update HO HR and Retail leadership on zone HR performance, trends, and concerns

Who You Are

  • A seasoned HR leader with 9–12 years of relevant experience

  • Proven track record in retail or fast-paced, multi-location industries

  • Strong in recruitment, ER, performance management, and compliance

  • Analytical and data-driven with a strategic mindset

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across levels

  • Willing to travel extensively within the assigned zone
