Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on SAP WM Functional Consultant who can independently manage warehouse configuration, business process design and L2/L3 functional support across V2 Retail’s Distribution Centres.
The role will involve regular interaction with warehouse operations at Farukhnagar and Kolkata DCs, understanding floor-level requirements and converting them into effective SAP WM solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end SAP WM warehouse structure and configuration.
- Configure warehouse numbers, storage types, storage sections, picking areas and storage bins.
- Configure and support put-away, picking, stock transfer, returns and inventory processes.
- Manage Transfer Requirement (TR) and Transfer Order (TO) configuration and confirmations.
- Provide functional ownership for HHT/RF-driven warehouse operations including GR, put-away, picking, stock transfer and stock take.
- Coordinate with SAP ABAP and Android development teams for HHT-related functionality.
- Manage Batch, Serial Number and Handling Unit processes where applicable.
- Design and execute physical inventory, cycle counting and stock reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and resolve SAP MM–WM stock differences.
- Support V2-specific warehouse processes and custom Gate Entry flows.
- Configure warehouse output determination, labels and print layouts.
- Handle L2/L3 functional support and drive root-cause analysis for critical issues.
- Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, process flows and configuration documentation.
- Drive configuration changes through DEV → QAS → PROD with proper UAT and transport governance.
- Conduct regular DC visits to understand operational gaps and improve warehouse processes.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on SAP WM functional consulting experience.
- Minimum one full-cycle WM implementation OR 3+ years of stable BAU WM support and enhancement experience.

- WM-MM & WM-SD Integration
- Hands-on experience with HHT/RF-driven warehouse operations is strongly preferred.
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, Distribution, E-commerce or 3PL is preferred.
- Comfortable with regular warehouse/DC visits.
- Good analytical, documentation and communication skills.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.

- SAP Fiori / WM Fiori experience
- Experience with barcode/label printing standards
- SAP WM/EWM certification
- Exposure to SAP–AX integration
- Snowflake/Data Lake exposure
- Experience working with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot for documentation, test scenarios, RCA and functional analysis.
