About the Role

V2 Retail is looking for an experienced .NET Developer with strong SQL knowledge to join our IT team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications, ensuring smooth integration with databases, and supporting business operations with reliable IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core).

• Write efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.

• Work on database design, performance tuning, and optimization.

• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and implement solutions.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix application and database issues.

• Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications.

• Integrate with APIs, web services, and third-party systems.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional experience in .NET development and SQL.

• Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, and Web APIs.

• Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server (or PostgreSQL/MySQL).

• Solid understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, ADO.NET.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/TFS).

• Good knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and SDLC.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (React.js, Angular, or JavaScript).

• Exposure to retail or ERP systems.

• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodology.
