Job Summary
We are looking for a Pre-Area Manager for our New Store Opening (NSO) team. This role is all about planning and managing everything before a new V2 store opens. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure the store is ready – from staff hiring to stock dispatch and site readiness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Execution
- Make and follow a clear plan for each new store launch
- Ensure all tasks are completed on time
- Solve any delays or challenges
2. Site Status Review
- Check store setup progress regularly
- Visit store sites and inspect conditions
- Make sure the store meets company standards
3. Manpower Planning
- Coordinate with HR for hiring and training store staff
- Plan staff schedules and roles
- Ensure the team is trained before opening
4. Stock Dispatch Coordination
- Work with the supply chain team to send stock on time
- Check stock levels and fix any shortages
5. Non-Trading Items Setup
- Ensure all store essentials (fixtures, signage, uniforms, etc.) are ready
- Fix any missing items before opening
6. Cross-Department Coordination
- Connect with HR, marketing, supply chain, and retail teams
- Share regular updates and reports
- Ensure everyone is aligned for the store launch
7. Reports & Checklists
Suggest improvements when needed
Maintain and track progress checklists
Prepare reports on store readiness
Other Responsibilities
- Follow company policies and legal rules
- Coordinate with vendors for setup and deliveries
- Conduct audits before the store opens
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail, or similar
- 2+ years of experience in retail operations (store openings preferred)
- Good planning, coordination, and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Ready to travel within the region
