About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong development skills and hands-on exposure across multiple SAP modules. The candidate should be capable of handling complex custom developments, enhancements, and integrations while working closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.

· Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).

· Develop custom objects using ABAP/OO, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and User Exits/BADIs.

· Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

· Support data migration and conversion activities using LSMW, BAPIs, and IDocs.

· Work on performance tuning and ensure ABAP code quality standards.

· Participate in integration projects involving ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and OData.

· Provide support for S/4HANA custom developments (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori integration, OData services).

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth system operations.

· Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and support UAT.

· Mentor junior developers and provide best practice guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

· Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.

· Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs.

· Strong experience in multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.).

· Good knowledge of Data Dictionary, ABAP Debugging, and Performance Optimization.

· Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, Workflows.

· Hands-on experience with IDoc/ALE, BDC, and LSMW.

· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

· Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, HANA Views).

· Knowledge of Fiori/UI5, OData services.

· SAP Certification in ABAP.

· Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
