About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong development skills and hands-on exposure across multiple SAP modules. The candidate should be capable of handling complex custom developments, enhancements, and integrations while working closely with functional consultants and business users to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, enhancements, forms, reports, and interfaces.
• Work on RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
• Develop custom objects using ABAP/OO, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV Reports, and User Exits/BADIs.
• Collaborate with functional teams (FI, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Support data migration and conversion activities using LSMW, BAPIs, and IDocs.
• Work on performance tuning and ensure ABAP code quality standards.
• Participate in integration projects involving ALE/IDoc, RFC, Web Services, and OData.
• Provide support for S/4HANA custom developments (CDS Views, AMDP, Fiori integration, OData services).
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth system operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, unit test cases, and support UAT.
• Mentor junior developers and provide best practice guidance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP, Enhancements, BADI, User Exits, BAPIs, RFCs.
• Strong experience in multiple SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM, HR, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Data Dictionary, ABAP Debugging, and Performance Optimization.
• Experience with SmartForms, Adobe Forms, ALV, Workflows.
• Hands-on experience with IDoc/ALE, BDC, and LSMW.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, HANA Views).
• Knowledge of Fiori/UI5, OData services.
• SAP Certification in ABAP.
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
